Vinod serves Global Drug Development Experts as Country Head- Clinical Operations. Vinod holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor in Pharmacy and pursuing Ph. D in Clinical Research from Texila American University.
During a career in pharmaceutical industry spanning 18 years, Vinod started his professional career with GlaxoSmithKline in Sales & Marketing and finally decided to enjoy the exciting world of clinical development and made clinical research as a core area of interest. Vinod is been in the field of clinical research for over 10 years now and has expertise in almost all major therapeutic areas in different capacities viz. Asst. CRM, Sr. CRA, Clinical Research Manager in GlaxoSmithKline.
In current profile, Vinod heads finance, business development, human resource and clinical operations for India. His team is involved in phase I to IV clinical trials. He is passionate about clinical project management, and likes to develop, refine and implement the classic project management principles for successful conduct of clinical trials.
Vinod has been a DIA member for about 6 years and life time member of Indian society for Clinical Research.
Vinod resides in Nagpur with his wife Priya, sons Yash & Harsh. Vinod enjoys swimming, reading and playing chess and regularly contributes his time and resources to provide medicines and educational material to needy people via various NGOs
Ms. Pradnya Mahatme serves as Project Manager and Business Development Manager at Global Drug Development Experts, India. Pradnya has her Masters in Biochemistry, holds a Diploma in Clinical Research and is pursuing Ph.D. in Biochemistry from RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur, India. Ms. Pradnya has 6 years of professional experience in Clinical Research. As a Project Manager, Ms. Pradnya has delivered excellent results in her past 3 years of service in GDD India. She has been handling Projects which were recognized globally for recruiting maximum number of patients in last two years.
Ms. Pradnya has worked in Cardiology, Endocrinology, Infections, Respiratory and Oncology. She has developed great communication skills and managed improve existing collaborations of GDD India with some leading sponsors and clinical practitioners.
Ms. Pradnya has always been perfectly dedicated manager, a great motivator, and bears a budding talent of business development. Ms. Pradnya with her integrity, dedication, honest, humble and cheerful attitude always believes in setting an example all by her before expecting anything from others. She has therefore received an award of excellence from GDD two years in succession.
Dr. Mehra serves Global Drug Development Experts as Managing Director. He holds a Masters in Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India and a Masters in Computer Science and PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Kentucky.
During a career in clinical research spanning 20 years, Dr. Mehra helped grow two contract research organizations into global players, one of which was the first CRO to go public in 1991. He has served as VP of Clinical Research, CIO, Director of Data Management and Biostatistics, and as Director of Business Development. He has “rescued” several clinical trials and NDA submissions that were delayed and needed strong leadership and depth of experience to get back on track. His global experience spans working in Europe, China and India, and has focused on assisting companies accelerate drug development with global strategies for rapid enrollment, optimized clinical data management, and addressing FDA submission issues.
He is actively involved in analyzing new ways to brings drugs to market sooner, and is currently working with the ACRO, CDISC, NIH and FDA on aspects of the Critical Path Initiative. Dr. Mehra is a frequent speaker at numerous industry meetings including the DIA Annual meetings and recently served as the chair of the DIA Information Technology Special Interest Area Communities (SIAC) as well as the Advisory Council for North America.
Munish resides in North Potomac, Maryland with his wife Sangeeta, teenage son Avnish, and daughter Sunaina. Munish enjoys reading and traveling and regularly contributes his time and resources to removing illiteracy and disease around the world.
James Krejci is Chairman of Global Drug Development Experts. Mr. Krejci has over 15-years experience in international corporate leadership positions, both with Fortune 500 companies and with smaller firms. He has extensive experience in both the U.S. and, in emerging markets around the world.
He held the role of CFO with Medifacts International, a global CRO, from 2001-2004. Over this period, he was instrumental in increasing Medifacts’ corporate valuation by 800% and oversaw the company’s global expansion. Prior to Medifacts, he lived in Russia for five years where he was the founding CFO for TV3 Russia, a nationwide TV network that today operates in over 100 cities across Russia. Prior to TV3, James led financial operations for Burson-Marseller’s Emerging Markets Practice. James has extensive experience in private equity capital raising both in the U.S. and abroad, debt financing, international tax, establishing corporate operations in foreign countries, and training foreign nationals.
James holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Economics from Denison University, and an MBA in International Finance from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). He speaks Russian and German, and is a citizen of the United States and Switzerland.
Jim is an avid skier and is a frequent supporter of children’s education and microfinance programs in the developing countries of Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe.
